An on–screen keyboard is built into Windows XP. The keyboard can be quite handy for those who have mobility issues as well as in situations where the regular keyboard is not functioning but you still have use of the mouse.

To access the keyboard:

Click START > RUN and type osk.

The keyboard opens on your monitor.
